Do you edit the footage?

No. You get raw files exactly as the camera captured them: no cuts, no colour grading, no music. That is the whole point. You keep full creative control and the edit stays yours.

Who owns the photos and video?

You do. Copyright in every delivered file transfers to you, so you can post it, sell it, license it or hand it to a client with no usage fees, ever.

How do I get my files?

You leave the shoot with a hard drive full of your raw footage. No waiting on uploads, no download links that expire.

What format is the video?

4K, shot in D-Log at 10-bit. It looks flat straight off the card on purpose, which leaves you far more room to push the colour in your own edit.

Are you licensed to fly commercially?

Yes. I hold a current FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot certificate, which is what the law requires for paid drone work.

What happens if the weather is bad?

If wind, rain or smoke make it unsafe to fly, we reschedule at no charge. You're never billed for a flight that didn't happen.

Does "1 hour" mean flight time?

No, it means time on site. Setup, battery changes and moving between angles are all included, so there is no clock ticking against you while I get into position.

How far will you travel?

Anywhere within 30 miles of Coeur d'Alene is included. Past that there is one flat $75 trip fee, shown before you book.

Do I pay when I book?

Accepted Answer

No. Nothing is charged when you book. I confirm your date back to you first, and payment happens once the work is delivered.

Can you fly anywhere?

Most places, but not all. Some properties sit near airports or in controlled airspace that needs FAA authorisation first. I check that before your shoot, and if a flight can’t be approved you are not charged.
